The New Orleans Pelicans’ early season woes continue, blowing a 23-point lead to the Denver Nuggets and extending their losing streak to 0-3. Clutch struggles remain a glaring issue, with Dejounte Murray shooting just 3 of 11 and Zion Williamson adding turnovers in late-game situations. Can the Pelicans find the ball movement and composure needed to close out tight contests, or will these late collapses define their campaign? Injury news compounds frustration, as Yves Missi suffers a bone bruise after a collision with Zion, leaving the team thin at the rim. DeAndre Jordan stepped in against Nikola Jokic with professionalism, but questions linger about long-term depth and rim protection. With Derik Queen and Karlo Matkovic still developing, the Pelicans face pivotal games ahead, searching for both their first win and answers to mounting on-court and roster challenges.
